Unlike a straight line, a spiral recognises that understanding rarely arrives in a single moment of insight. We return to familiar places with new perspective, each time seeing a little more than we could before.
Female friendships can be some of the most meaningful, and at times confusing, relationships in our lives.
You may have felt moments of deep connection and belonging, alongside moments of uncertainty, self doubt, or quiet distance. You may have found yourself replaying conversations, questioning where you stand, or wondering why something affected you so deeply.
These experiences are far more common than we are led to believe.
And yet, there has been very little shared language for the complexity of female friendship. Much of what we experience is held privately, not because it is insignificant, but because it can feel tender, layered, and difficult to name.
This journey is an invitation to see your friendships through a new lens.
Not to fix yourself or your relationships, but to understand them more deeply and meet what you find with compassion.
This is not a journey towards becoming someone different. It is a journey towards becoming more deeply oriented to your own relational landscape.
The Six Week Spiral is a guided journey through the patterns, experiences and unseen influences that shape the way we give, receive and sustain friendship.
Across six weeks, we'll explore these layers together, gradually revealing a clearer map of your own relational landscape.
There is no pressure to fix anything or arrive at a particular outcome. The invitation is simply to become more deeply oriented to where you are, what has shaped you, and the possibilities that may emerge from seeing it all more clearly.
What We'll Explore Together
Across six weeks, we'll gently explore:
Beginning with the Landscape
We begin by making sense of the changing world of female friendship, normalising the questions, longings and complexities that so many of us carry. This is where we begin to find our bearings.
Understanding the Way We Relate
Through your relational archetypes, you'll begin to recognise the gifts you naturally bring to friendship, alongside the protective patterns that have helped you navigate connection throughout your life.
Exploring the Maps We Carry
Together we'll begin to uncover the influences that shape our relational world. The experiences we've inherited. The cultures we've grown up within. The moments that have marked us. The ways we've adapted. Rather than seeing these patterns as problems to solve, we'll learn to recognise them as part of the landscape we are navigating.
Recognising What Happens Under Pressure
As our understanding deepens, we'll explore what happens when friendships become activating, uncertain or painful. We'll gently build awareness of our nervous system, our protective responses, and the choices that become available when we recognise them with compassion.
Finding New Possibilities
As the journey unfolds, many women discover they no longer need to approach friendship from self blame or certainty. Instead, they begin to meet themselves, and the women around them, with greater clarity, discernment and self trust.
Many women share that this is the first time their experiences of friendship have truly made sense.
Who This Journey Is For
- You have felt the impact of friendship, even if you cannot always explain why.
- You find yourself reflecting on conversations, wondering what just happened.
- You value depth and authenticity, but notice you sometimes hold back or move cautiously.
- You have experienced patterns of over giving, withdrawal, or uncertainty in closeness.
- You feel tired of questioning yourself in relationship.
- You sense there is more to understand about the way you relate with other women.
- You are drawn to gentle, reflective spaces rather than advice or quick solutions.
You don't need to arrive with a problem to solve. A quiet sense of recognition is enough.
What This Isn't
- This is not therapy, crisis support, or a substitute for professional mental health care.
- It is not a place to analyse the women in your life or seek validation that someone else is at fault.
- It is not a high intensity sharing circle or a space that requires emotional disclosure. You will never be asked to share more than feels right for you.
- It is not a fast paced self improvement program or a collection of techniques designed to fix yourself or your friendships.
- It is not about becoming more agreeable, more open, or more available than you already are.
- And it is not a space where you are expected to keep up, perform insight, or arrive already resourced.
It is a gentle, structured relational learning space that offers language, reflection and perspective, allowing your experiences of friendship to begin making sense without falling into self blame.
You are welcome to arrive exactly as you are.
